Darrell and Sarah began their journey together in 1978, they worked hard and their family grew, during this time their experience and knowledge within the Oil and Gas industry combined with Sarah’s passion in the Health care field, inspired them in 2011 to start up their own company, they implemented policy’s and procedures as well as developing their safety manual to meet or exceed their client standards.
MDJ Oilfield Service Inc was proudly named after their children; Miranda, Darrell, and Jazmine then sadly they lost another Son Darwell.
In 2014 Darrell suffered a stroke that left him with limited mobility, In spite of the tremendous loss and struggles they were still able to manage the company and Darrell remains a vital part of the business.
Darrell and Sarah remain united, they are blessed with a beautiful community and unwavering family support. They value family time with their Son Catlin his wife Megan and their many Grandchildren.
MDJ Oilfield Service Inc. is operated from their home on the Horse Lake First Nation. Both Darrell and Sarah are passionate about what they do, with hearts full of love and compassion they give back in many ways by supporting local events within and around their community.
Currently MDJ provides Medic Units, Security Vehicles, Pilot Trucks, as well as Excavators, and a bobcat, all ready to serve their client needs.
Being self motivated, having many years of combined and valuable industry expertise and a passion for management, MDJ has a proven record of working collaboratively with team members and clients to achieve goals and adapt to effectively managing all operations, they work in trust and believe in one another.

The nature of the work we perform onsite or at any emergency scene demands us to be responsible health and safe professionals. In order to ensure our ability to perform at the highest standard possible and in the least hazardous way, onsite safety inspections and near miss reports are conducted on a regular basis, ensuring all workers are competent and prepared for work task or emergencies.
It is understood that within the nature of our business, we will be faced with decisive situations that demand the best of medic attendants, workers and supervisors. We rely on training, experience, job knowledge, and common sense. Knowledge of safety regulations enhances judgment and accountability within all job scopes. Organized and supportive documentations are efficiently provided should we be called upon to justify our actions.
It is the policy of MDJ Oilfield Service Inc. to conduct all operations safely, to prevent injuries to persons and damage to property. All practical steps shall be taken to prevent and eliminate accidents or near misses. Workers are required to perform with due diligence in any daily work task or emergency; all units are equipped with GPS tracking.
Drug and alcohol screening are performed as required.
